Position Overview:

Our Calgary office is looking for an energetic individual who has a strong understanding and passion for Business Analysis. The candidate will be a team leader in identifying customer business system requirements and solution opportunities.

The successful Candidate will be able to:

• Facilitate analysis, classification and documentation of requirements for the development and   implementation of business solutions
• Interview stakeholders within client’s organization to understand the gap areas or weak points   of existing processes
• Ability to perform process and workflow modeling identifying current state processes and areas   of improvement
• Gather the right information and understand the operations of the clients' business
• Document accurate requirements and recommend solutions that help Graycon clients solve   problems
• Analyze data that is collected and create useful information for the purpose of decision making
• Assist Graycon clients to understand and prioritize competing solutions and ideas
• Identify and analyze risks to the business for clients so that remediation recommendations may   be prioritized
• Build strong relationships with Business and IT Leaders/process owners and other process   stakeholders and communicate with them effectively in order to reach a strong understanding   of the business’ goals
• Support IT in developing process workflow maps, procedures, controls, metrics and targets
• Integrate requisite operational and compliance controls in process design and documentation
• Ensure requirement documentation and artifacts satisfy SOX requirements (if necessary)
• Participate actively in the development of process testing strategies and plans
• Monitor user acceptance testing and respond to problems
• Complete internal audits of controls and identify areas for improvement to ensure readiness for   completion of external audits

The Candidate must demonstrate the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, management or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years experience as a business analyst with proven success in process improvement   projects
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Proven ability to communication with a variety of audiences (client and internal team, business   and technical audiences)
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to express complex ideas clearly in written format
• Demonstrated experience producing technology project artifacts
• Show initiative and enjoy working in a team environment
• Self-starter with excellent facilitation skills
• High accuracy with an attention to detail
