Network Infrastructure Architect

Position Overview:

Our Saskatoon office is looking for a dynamic individual who will be responsible for designing and deploying large-scale network infrastructure solutions, as well as have the ability to advise customers on the procurement, design, installation and upgrade of IT infrastructure systems alongside documenting additional recommendations. You will be able to demonstrate your achievements on major infrastructure projects and provide client references supporting your solutions.

The successful Candidate will be able to:

• Carry out infrastructure design and deployment
• Install/implement, maintain, migrate, configure, optimize, troubleshoot, and support Microsoft   Windows
• Install, configure, optimize, troubleshoot and support Terminal Services/Citrix Metaframe
• Effectively troubleshoot infrastructure issues (eg. performance bottlenecks, configuration   faults)
• Assist in the development of all IT security policies and procedures, including those for end   users, network procedures, and regulatory compliance
• Produce accurate and informative technical documentation
• Lead small teams of infrastructure technicians
• Prioritize and execute tasks in a high-energy environment
• Understand the dynamic nature of a client's business and deliver the solution
• Deal effectively with all levels of clients and team members
• Work under pressure
• Work at high level (consulting with clients) and detailed level (hands on)

The Candidate must demonstrate the following:

• Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role (as detailed above)
• Hold at least one IT certification (i.e. MCSE, CCNA etc.) or equivalent degree
• 3-5 years experience with Windows NT/2000/2003/XP, Active Directory, Exchange, SAN’s,   clustering, WAN’s and Citrix
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
• Project Management (planning, preparing business cases, managing deliverables and timelines)   with minimum of 200 project hours
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Effective/proven communication skills
• Hold a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Consultancy/Professional Services background
