Position Overview:

Our Calgary office is looking for an energetic individual who has a strong understanding and passion for Project Management. The candidate will lead a Project Team in development and implementation of solutions for Graycon’s clients with an emphasis on quality delivery and customer satisfaction.

The successful Candidate will be able to:

• Apply Graycon’s established project management framework in the delivery of solutions to their   clients
• Educate and review with client’s staff the established project procedures, processes, and   methods
• Initiate projects with stakeholders via development of Project Scope and Charter
• Develop resource, communication, and project management plans that clearly meet all   established objectives for client projects
• Work with clients to procure necessary resources and assets necessary for complete delivery of   selected solutions
• Communicate effectively with all key project stakeholders and Executive Sponsorship
• Influence and motivate project team members and other resources in completion of high   quality, project deliverables
• Monitor and control project scope, budget and schedule ensuring related issues are identified   in a timely fashion and resolved with proactive measures
• Identify areas of project risk and take appropriate action
• Effectively close project with client approval and satisfaction
• Document recommendations project framework adjustments were necessary by way of   documenting lessons    learned and interviewing project stakeholders at project closure
• Enforce that all project stakeholders follow standard project framework processes throughout   the project’s life

The Candidate must demonstrate the following:

• Ability to apply project methodology procedures to assigned project(s)
• College/University education and 7-10 years Project Management work experience or   equivalent combination
• PMP Certified or working to accomplish PMP Certification
• Proven track record of managing projects and successfully implementing and managing formal   quality processes in projects
• Large project exposure and/or previous consulting experience
• Understands and is able to apply PMI principles, concepts and techniques on related projects
• Excellent communication (verbal and written), presentation, training and leadership skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to express complex ideas clearly in written format
• Show initiative and enjoy working in a team environment
• Self-starter with excellent facilitation skills
• High accuracy with an attention to detail
