Position Overview:
We are currently looking for a vibrant individual to join our Security Team as a Security Specialist who will be responsible for implementing and supporting state-of-the-art security technology in a managed security services environment. The candidate for this position is a highly motivated individual who have experience with a variety of enterprise class network, server and security technologies.
The successful Candidate will be able to:
• Plan, design and implement security hardware devices and associated software; including firewalls, VPN’s, intrusion detection systems, cryptography systems and anti-virus software
• Design and reengineer secure network, both perimeter and internal
• Monitor and interpret network activity
• Configure systems and services to improve security
• Assist in researching, writing, implementing security solutions technology proposals
The Candidate must demonstrate the following:
• Broad experience with LAN/WAN networking
• Depth of knowledge of IP, TCP/IP and other routing protocols
• Hold current vendor and security certifications (MCSE, CCNA, CCA, CISSP, CEH, etc)
• Skilled in client delivery and service
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to execute tasks in
a high-energy environment
• A team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to excel in a flexible work schedule
