Position Overview:
We are looking for an energetic individual to join our Advanced Network Services team. You will be responsible for designing and deploying complex IP communications solutions. The successful candidate will have a solid background in routing and switching (CCNP required), specializing in IP communications solutions and applications. You will be able to demonstrate your achievements on major infrastructure projects and provide client references supporting solutions.
The successful Candidate will be able to:
• Design advanced network solutions for enterprise clients
• Lead projects from concept to completion
• Audit and assess existing systems
• Establish and document the client's business objectives
• Professionally propose and present services and solutions to clients
The Candidate must demonstrate the following:
• Minimum 2 years experience as a network consultant (you have worked for a consulting firm who contracted you out to their clients)
• Minimum 6 years experience designing and deploying network infrastructures
• Impeccable client facing and communication skills
• Ability to understand client business objectives and ROI requirement
• Experienced team leader with good coaching techniques
• Expert in large scale LAN and WAN design and deployment
• Thorough understanding of project management techniques
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) - required
• Cisco Certified Voice Professional (CCVP) - preferred
• Cisco Certified Internetworking Expert (CCIE) - R&S/IPC - preferred
• Good understanding of client/server OS - Windows/Unix
In addition to personal certification, it is advantageous to have the following Cisco partner certifications:
• Cisco IP Telephony Design Specialist
• Cisco IP Telephony Support Specialist
Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate the following:
• CCVP or CCIE voice
